Surgery Center of Mount Dora

Project Description: The Surgery Center of Mount Dora consisted of a 11,052 square-foot ambulatory surgery center featuring three operating rooms, a minor procedure room, pre/post operation beds and associate support services.

The Surgery Center of Mount Dora was licensed and inspected by AHCA.

Florida Hospital Medical Office Building & ASC

Project Description: The 40,351 square-foot project entails a build-out of a 13,137 square feet Ambulatory Surgical Center within the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Office Building in Sebring, Florida. The new ambulatory surgery center includes four operating rooms, six pre-op beds, eight step down recovery beds, ten recovery beds, two procedure rooms, and staff support areas. The remainder of the first floor and the entire second floor are medical offices.

This project was inspected and licensed by AHCA. This project is the sixth project that Stevens has completed on the hospital campus.

The Florida Hospital MOB/ASC won a 2009 Summit Award for Best Healthcare Project.

St. Marks Ambulatory Surgery Center

Project Description: St. Mark's Surgery Center consisted of new construction of a 9,290 square feet ambulatory surgery center located in Fort Myers. The facility includes three operating rooms, five post-operating beds, six step-down recovery beds, as well as office and administrative areas.

Center for Surgical Excellence

Project Description: Center for Surgical Excellence entailed new construction of a 10,660 square foot ambulatory surgery center in Venice, Florida. The facility consists of 6,492 square feet surgical area and 4,168 square feet medical office. The new center includes two operating rooms, two procedure rooms, six post-op recovery beds, seven exam rooms, as well as office and administrative areas.

This project is AHCA licensed and inspected.

Murdock Ambulatory Surgery Center

Project Description:Murdock Ambulatory Surgery Center consisted of the construction of a new ambulatory surgery center in Port Charlotte. 12,000 square feet of the building houses three operating rooms, pre-op, recovery, step down recovery, and administrative areas.

Barkley Surgery Center

Project Description: This project consisited of a renovation of 8,284 square feet of an existing 12,200 square feet ambulatory surgery center in Fort Myers, Florida. There were four phases of construction which allowed the facility to remain in operation during construction. The newly remodeled center includes an operating suite, three exam/treatment rooms, six pre-op beds, six recovery beds, as well as supporting office and administrative areas.

Barkley Surgery Center was licensed and inspected by AHCA.

Premier Surgery Center of Sarasota

Project Description: The Premier Surgery Center of Sarasota entailed a renovation of 20 rooms within the existing facility, located at 983 Beneva Road. Modifications included the reconstruction of restroom facilities to meet current ADA standards and numerous restorative enhancements. Stevens Construction also added two stage-two recovery rooms to the surgery center, which remained operational while construction occured.
