Gulf Coast Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit
Size: 57,000-Square-Feet
Location: Fort Myers

Completed in early 2019, Stevens Construction provided construction management services for a 57,000-square-foot, post-acute care skilled nursing unit for Lee Health.

Developed by Aquila Healthcare Development, Lee Health is leasing the three-story, 75-Bed medical facility which provides post-acute services for patients needing short-term medical recovery and rehabilitation as part of the Lee Health care continuum.

With architectural services provided by Studio+, Gulf Coast Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit is designed with a homelike approach within the three floors.  Each floor houses an open concept living room, kitchen and nurse station and 25-private patient beds with convenient access to the occupational and physical therapy rooms.

The Skilled Nursing Unit features a 3,000-square foot therapy gym incorporating the latest technology and equipment and a wellness garden with lush landscaping and herb planting stations.

Located at 13960 Plantation Road, Gulf Coast Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit is now open for business.
