Stevens Construction was selected among seven firms to provide construction management services for a 33,636 square-foot hospice house and resource center by Good Shepherd Hospice, A Chapters Health Affiliate.

Situated on six acres at 1110 Hammock Road in Sebring, the facility features 16 private suites with in-room accommodations for overnight visits and garden-view lanais surrounding a centralized nursing station. The facility also includes a children’s play area, chapel, kitchen and library.

The Hospice House reflects traditional Floridian architecture with metal standing seam roofing, front porches and native landscaping providing a welcoming and home-like environment for patients, family and staff.

The duration of the project was thirteen months and the project was delivered two months ahead of schedule which allowed the owner to occupy the facility 60 days early.
