stevensconstruction_TheCottageFORT MYERS, Fla. (August 3, 2016) – Stevens Construction has completed construction management services for The Cottage, Cypress Cove at HealthPark’s 45,000-square-foot, two-story memory care facility.

Located at 10200 Cypress Cove Drive within the HealthPark campus, the project occurred while the 550-residency retirement community remained operational.

The Cottage features four uniquely designed households, each with a country kitchen, dining room, living room, parlor and eleven private residences with private bathrooms. Situated on the second floor, residents can enjoy a beauty salon and spa and multi-purpose room.  The second floor also houses the regions only Snoezelen therapy room, a sensory treatment proven beneficial for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.

The Cottage also features a tropical outdoor garden and courtyard featuring a rain chain waterfall, dancing water jets, low-impact flooring, gardening sinks and a rooftop garden.
