Up 75 percent from 2005, Stevens Construction’s 2006 gross revenue of $28 million landed the four-year-old company at number 40 on the list. Founded in 2003, Stevens Construction has grown to 26 employees and has consistently increased its revenues each year.
One of Stevens Construction’s largest projects in 2006 was the new clubhouse and swimming pool complex at South Seas Resort on Captiva Island. The 12,000-square-foot island resort clubhouse features both indoor and outdoor waterfront dining and bar options, activity rooms for both adults and children, and a video arcade. The pool complex includes two pools with fountains, spas, cabanas and attendant buildings.
