Up 41 percent from 2012, Stevens Construction’s 2013 gross revenue of $21.6 million landed the company at number 31 on the list. Founded in 2003, Stevens Construction has grown to 38 employees, a 40% increase since 2012.
The company’s largest project started in 2013 was the Oasis Clubhouse at ChampionsGate in Orlando. Stevens Construction was awarded the construction management contract for the Oasis Clubhouse and Amenities at ChampionsGate by Lennar.
Stevens Construction is building a 12,506 SF clubhouse featuring a fitness center, aerobic room, women’s and men’s locker rooms, movie theater, children’s play area, sundries shop, game room and full restaurant and bar.
The project also includes the construction of a beach entry pool, splash pad, quiet pool, lazy river and associated hardscapes, landscaping and irrigation.
The new clubhouse will be one of three that will serve ChampionsGate, a Lennar community that will have an estimated 3,200 vacation and full-time resident homes near Walt Disney World.
Some of the company’s other notable, recent projects include Florida Hospital Tampa Facade, a multi-phase exterior and interior update to the hospital including renovation 355 patient rooms, a complete renovation of DeVoe Cadillac in Naples, Garramone Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Densitry of Fort Myers and The Center for Specialized Surgery in Fort Myers.
With offices in Fort Myers, Orlando and Tampa Fla., Stevens Construction specializes in construction management and also provides general contracting and consulting services to architects, developers, contractors and owners. Other services include site and design team selection, budgeting, project scheduling, permitting, cost and quality control, and assistance with inspections, licenses and warranties. The company builds commercial and health-care facilities.
