Stevens Construction has promoted Dan Adams to vice president of south Florida and principal of the company, announced Mark Stevens, company president.
In his new role, Adams will be responsible for the development of new projects; and integral in the operations and delivery of projects in the South Florida region.
“Since joining the company in 2011, Dan has immediately risen to the top of the management team and consistently produced exceptional results in all of his projects,” said Mark Stevens.Adams has completed more than 230,000-square-feet of construction since joining Stevens Construction as senior project manager, including the multi-phase renovation of DeVoe Cadillac and the construction of Landmark Hospital, an 86,676-square-foot long-term care facility currently under construction in Naples.
A LEED Accredited Professional and licensed general contractor, the Fort Myers native earned his bachelor’s degree in building construction from the University of Florida. Adams has also earned Healthcare Construction Certification from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering and Infection Control Certification.
Active in the community, Adams serves as treasurer on the board of directors for the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers, Real Estate Investment Society and United Way Allocations committee.
