abc-safetystarThe semi-annual award program was initiated to generate a greater awareness of the importance of a safe working environment within the construction industry. In all, 23 contractors competed in the five award categories. ABC carefully reviewed each company’s safety policy and plan, safety training program, and safety record, as well as OSHA inspection reports. The number of employees and cumulative hours worked were also factors in determining the award recipients.
